MED-1600 is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) device that maintains the communication system by continuously supplying electricity to telecommunications equipment in the event of a power outage or disaster.
.In normal times, electricity can
be used at the same time to charge the battery using commercial power (AC) .In the event of a disaster such as a power outage, earthquake, or fire, electricity can be supplied to communication equipment through the built-in battery
. Emergency notification message is sent to the manager in case of an emergency.

How to use the Switch
Step 1 → The switch is located inside the product.
Step 2→ How to open the door is as shown in the picture below.
Step 3 → Switch from the right to Battery > Control > Input.
※ After the Control touch panel screen is fully turned on, turn on the AC Input switch.
How to use the Control Panel Touch Display
Step 1 → Raise the Control Switch to activate the front Touchcable Control Panel Display.
Step 2 → Flip the Input switch, and the first lamp (INPUT) will light up.
Step 3 → When using Output, connect the device you want to use to the universal jack located at the rear of the device, then touch the Output checkbox in the control panel, and the second lamp will light up. Conversely, if you block Output, tap the checkbox again to turn off the second lamp and switch to inactive mode.
How to read the Control Panel Touch Display
1. Bat. Vol : Battery Voltage to indicate the voltage of the battery.
2. Inv. Vol : Inverter Voltage, which indicates the AC voltage that is output when using Output mode.
3. Inv. Cur : Inverter Current, which indicates the AC current that is output when using Output mode.
4. DC Vol : Dc Voltage indicates the DC voltage that is output when using Output mode.
5. DC Cur : DC Current indicates the DC current that is output when using the output mode.
6. Smoke detect: When the Smoke sensor is activated, the Alarm Lamp will light up, the Buzzer will sound, and the checkbox in the Smoke detect part of the Display will flash.
7. Battery low : When the voltage of the battery is below a certain level, the alarm lamp and buzzer will flash, and the checkbox for the low battery will flash. In this case, the output is blocked even if the OUTPUT checkbox is checked to protect the battery. After that, the AC input is supplied normally and the battery is charged, and the block is released.
8. Main, Config, Maint., Log button: It will be activated when the function is added in the future.
How to use the Backwards
1. Ethernet port: Reserved.
2. Buzzer: When there is a problem in the system, the alarm lamp on the front panel lights up and emits an audible warning.
3. RS-232/485: Reserved.
4. AC input: Activates the system by connecting a commercial power source (230V 50Hz).
5. DC 12V: Depending on the user’s needs, the DC 12V output can be used to power the desired device.
6. DC 12V cigar jack: Depending on the user’s needs, the DC 12V cigar jack can be used to power the desired device.
7. AC Output: Used to supply power to the device used. In the event of a power outage, you can power your device during backup time. (Based on full battery charge)
Precautions
– Do not use current greater than 2A for DC 12V output terminals.
– Do not use current exceeding 3A for the AC 90V output terminal.
– Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and rainwater.
– Avoid direct sunlight and use in a well-ventilated shaded area.
– When using, be sure to remove the product from the packaging box and place it on a flat surface.
– Overcharging and discharging may shorten the life of the battery, so use it with caution.
– To maintain the battery life for a long time, be sure to turn it off when not in use.
– Even if you don’t use the product, it will naturally discharge, so charge it at least once a year.
