Operating Principle
The butterfly valve is controlled by a pneumatic actuator, but can also be manually operated with a hand wheel.
The actuator has a unique structure, including the normal (NC) type, normally open (NO) type, and normally closed (A/A) type.
The actuator works by rotating the stem to rotate the butterfly valve by 90°, enabling it to open or close. The movement of the valve blade and the seat create a seal for the valve and control the fluid flow.
The valve can be operated manually or automatically. Once the actuator is turned on, the valve is positioned to adjust the flow amount.
