DataMan 8070V Series features
Barcode verification is the process of scoring the quality of a barcode, and a barcode verifier captures images and generates a report to prove that the barcode meets the parameters in the industry-standardized guidelines.
DataMan 8070 Series barcode verifiers are equipped with powerful illumination options, robust grading algorithms, high-speed processing engines, and high-resolution cameras to capture and score the most difficult Direct Part Identification (DPM) codes. Combined with the simple DataMan Setup Tool software, the DataMan 8070 Series Verifier delivers detailed, repeatable results.
Multiple options for verifying the code on each surface
The DataMan 8070 verifier is the only one selected in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) AIM DPM Quality Guidelines (ISO/IEC TR, 29158) 30/45/90 Degree verifier with three lighting angles. It makes it easy to illuminate code with textures, surfaces, and even highly reflective surfaces, and reliably captures and scores code images to demonstrate code quality compliance.

The DataMan 8070 Series Verifiers feature an ergonomic and handheld scanner-like design that makes them easy to move. The small image header gives the user better access to the code in the recesses or hard-to-reach locations. The DataMan 8070 verifier is the only verifier on the market with an IP65 rating and a rugged enclosure to withstand the harshest factory environments.

*The DataMan 8070 Verifier includes a basic calibration card with a Data Matrix symbol. Calibration cards with the conformance symbol can be purchased separately. The industry will decide what type of calibration card is required. The calibration card is valid for two years from the date of issue.

CalibrationCard
A basic calibration cardwith a Data Matrix symbol is included with the DataMan 8072 verifier. Acalibration card with conformance symbols is available to purchase separately. The industry will dictate the type of calibration card needed. Cards expire twoyears from the issue date.
