Nordson EFD Performus™ Series X100 Fluid Dispenser

The Nordson EFD Performus™ Series fluid dispensers provide reliable benchtop dispensing control for general application of glues, oils, greases, epoxy, silicones, sealants, cyanoacrylates, solder pastes, and other assembly fluids dispensed with syringe barrels. These air-powered (or pneumatic) dispensers reduce costs and improve productivity by delivering precise, repeatable fluid deposits ─ resulting in higher yields. Manufacturers benefit from a more controlled dispensing solution that reduces guesswork, fluid waste, and operator fatigue. The Performus X100 features a 0–7 bar (0–100 psi) pressure regulator that handles all fluids.

Features

Teach function
Timed or steady operation
Vacuum control to keep thin fluids from dripping between cycles
Digital time/pressure display
Metal chassis that also acts as a Faraday cage to improve EMI/RFI protection
Universal power supply for use worldwide

Benefits

Consistent dots, fills, and neat beads
Reduces guesswork, fluid waste, and operator fatigue
Metal chassis increases physical protection of the dispenser, making it ideal for use in industrial environments
Chassis connection for grounding to enhance system electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection
Replacement part kits for easy service and maintenance in the field

Teach, Timed, and Steady Modes

The Performus X100 unit features vacuum control, a convenient teach function that makes it simple to set initial shot size, an I/O connection, and universal power supply. It can also be operated in Timed or Steady mode.

Compatible Fluids

The Performus Series dispensers can be used with nearly any type of assembly fluid. Some materials are so abrasive they would render a dispense valve obsolete within a shift or two. In this case, fluid dispensers are a better option since they dispense from a disposable syringe barrel and dispense tip that are thrown away after each use.

Compatible fluids include, but are not limited to:

Adhesives
Cyanoacrylates
Epoxies
Greases
Oils
Sealants
Silicones
Solder Pastes
